WE ARE COMMITTED to implementing green practices in FMPA's day-to-day operations. Eleven years ago, FMPA constructed an energy-efficient headquarters, and today we continue to adopt environmentally practices.

Building Efficiency

When FMPA’s office was built in 2000, it was ahead of its time in meeting standards for efficiency. FMPA’s building employs cost-effective, energy efficient options, such as high efficiency air conditioning, heavily insulated roof and walls, super-efficient windows and sunshade devices to reduce glare and minimize heat gain while still reflecting light into the building.

Conservation Practices

FMPA's staff is also changing habits. Our office-wide recycling program, compostable kitchen wares, Green certified janitorial supplies, reusable biodegradable plastic cups and non-toxic cleaning agents are results of our long-standing commitment to responsible business practices. FMPA also implements touch-free bathroom technologies and reduced landscape irrigation to conserve water. The installation of automatic faucets reduces our water usage by at least 50%, saving hundreds of thousands of gallons of water each year.
